This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, which third-party tools and services process it, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights (including deletion). JobsRivo is an independently operated publication; it is operated as an independent publishing project by an individual. There is no separate legal entity, and there is no EU/UK representative appointed under Article 27 GDPR at this time, as the site does not target EU/UK residents on a large scale.
Information We Collect
- Personal information you submit voluntarily: name, email address, and message content when you email us via the contact link on our Contact page.
- Technical & usage data collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and approximate location (country/city) — collected via cookies, server logs, and analytics tools.
- Cookies & similar technologies: used for site functionality, analytics, and advertising (see Section 5 and our Cookie Policy).
We do not currently operate a newsletter, run a comments system, or accept user-submitted job listings. If we add any of these features in future, we will update this Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy before collecting any new categories of personal data. In compliance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines (16 CFR Part 255), we disclose any material connections we may have with third-party services, advertisers, or affiliate partners mentioned on this site.
How We Use Your Information
- Respond to your queries, feedback, or scam reports sent by email.
- Measure website traffic, performance, and content quality (aggregated analytics).
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Serve and measure advertisements via Google AdSense.

Third-Party Tools & Services We Use
To run and improve this website, we currently rely on the following third-party processors. Each is bound by its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.) — measures anonymized traffic, page views, and referral sources.
- Google AdSense (Google LLC) — displays personalized and non-personalized advertisements using cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie (IDE, DSID) and Google AdSense cookies (__gads, __gpi). These cookies may track browsing activity across multiple websites to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings.
- Google Search Console — search-performance data aggregated by Google.
- Google Site Kit (Google LLC) — a WordPress plugin that connects this site to Google services (Analytics, AdSense, Search Console) for dashboard reporting. Site Kit itself does not collect visitor data; it uses the underlying Google services listed above.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — CDN, DNS, and security layer. Cloudflare may temporarily process IP addresses and request metadata to protect the site from attacks.
- Web hosting provider — stores the site database and server logs (including IP addresses) for uptime and security monitoring.
- Contact (mailto): the contact link opens your own email client and sends mail directly to contact@jobsrivo.com. We do not store contact submissions in any third-party form database; messages are received and retained only in our support inbox.
We do not currently use a newsletter / email-marketing provider (such as Mailchimp, Brevo, or MailerLite), and we do not currently run a comments system. If either is enabled in future, this section will be updated before any subscriber or commenter data is collected.
Data Retention
- Email correspondence (support inbox): retained for up to 24 months from the last interaction, then deleted or anonymized, unless we are required to keep it longer for legal reasons.
- Server access logs: typically retained for 30–90 days for security and debugging.
- Google Analytics data: retained according to the property’s configured retention period (currently up to 14 months for event data).
- AdSense / advertising cookies: managed by Google according to its own retention schedule.
International Data Transfers & Processing Locations
JobsRivo is an independent online publisher serving a global English-speaking audience. Because our service providers operate globally, your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including:
- United States — Google LLC (Analytics, AdSense, Search Console) and Cloudflare, Inc. operate primarily from the US.
- European Union / Ireland — Google Ireland Ltd. processes EU/EEA user data for EU visitors.
- Host data-centre region — our web host may store the site database and backups in its own data-centre region.
Where data is transferred out of the EU/EEA or UK, those transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), as published by each processor.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA / similar), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
- Request deletion of your personal data (“right to erasure”).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.

How to Request Deletion of Your Data
To delete any personal data we hold about you:
- Email us at contact@jobsrivo.com from the same email address you used to contact us.
- Use the subject line: “Data Deletion Request”.
- Tell us which data you want removed (e.g. past emails, all data).
We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, unless we are legally required to retain specific records.
For data held by third parties (Google Analytics, AdSense, Cloudflare, etc.), you may also need to contact those providers directly or use their own deletion / opt-out tools.
Children’s Privacy
Our website is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact contact@jobsrivo.com and we will delete it promptly.
Third-Party Links
JobsRivo links to external websites (e.g. official employer career pages, government portals). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites. Please review their privacy policies before sharing personal information.
Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational safeguards (HTTPS/TLS, access controls, DDoS and WAF protection via Cloudflare, software updates) to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, tools, or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always show the latest version. Continued use of the website after an update implies acceptance of the revised policy.
