What this role involves

The Senior Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering high standards of holistic care to a defined group of patients and acts as the designated deputy for the Sister or Charge Nurse. As a Band 6 nurse you will be the nurse in charge of the shift, responsible for the day-to-day running of the ward, coordinating patient care and managing staffing.
