How We Verify Jobs on JobsRivo
Every overseas job listing and visa guide on JobsRivo goes through a documented 5-step verification process before it is published. This page explains exactly what we check, who checks it, and what gets rejected. We are an independent publisher — not a recruitment agency — and we never charge job seekers a fee.
Official source check
We require every listing to map back to a primary source — the employer’s own careers page, an official government portal, or a verified newspaper notice. Listings that only appear on social media, WhatsApp forwards, or unknown agency websites are rejected. For overseas roles we cross-check against gov.uk, canada.ca, immi.gov.au, make-it-in-germany.com, EURES, the NZ accredited employer list, and the Ireland employment permits register.
Employer / recruiter identity check
We confirm the employer or recruiter is real, legally registered, and licensed where required:
- Pakistan: POEPL / Protector of Emigrants licence for overseas placement.
- UK: Home Office Worker & Temporary Worker sponsor licence register.
- Australia: ASIC company registration; approved sponsor on Home Affairs.
- New Zealand: Immigration NZ accredited employer list.
- Germany / EU: Bundesanzeiger, Companies House for UK group, official Make-it-in-Germany pages.
No-fee rule (zero tolerance)
Any listing — or any “agent” claiming to represent a JobsRivo listing — that asks job seekers for money is rejected and reported. JobsRivo never charges job seekers a fee. If you are ever asked to pay for a visa stamp, a “training fee”, a refundable deposit, or anything similar, that is a scam. Stop, do not pay, and email mustafaatd60@gmail.com. Editorial review & sign-off
After source and identity checks, the listing or guide is reviewed by the relevant desk — Overseas & Visa Sponsorship, Career Guides & Skills, or Scam Alerts & Safety. The Fact-Checking Desk validates numbers, salary thresholds and visa rules. Founder & Editor-in-Chief Mustafa Ahmad personally signs off before anything goes live.
Ongoing review & expiry
Listings are re-checked regularly. Expired roles are archived or updated. Reader-submitted tips and corrections are reviewed manually. Every guide is re-verified at least once per year — we never re-date a guide without a real fact review.
