What This Role Involves

Working within the Development Services division of EDQ, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that enables new housing, commercial, and mixed-use development across Queensland through planning, development approvals, and a significant infrastructure funding program. Your core responsibilities include:

• Providing specialist development engineering advice on planning and development proposals, identifying infrastructure requirements and delivering engineering infrastructure planning services to achieve positive outcomes
• Providing specialist advice in the management of development applications and the delivery of infrastructure associated with development projects in accordance with statutory requirements
• Proactively managing projects or elements of projects under supervision from senior engineers
• Preparing professional written information, interpretations, briefings, presentations, and reports
• Participating in communication and negotiation strategies to support stakeholder engagement
• Implementing business process improvements relevant to work practices and striving for continuous improvement
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within your area of expertise to promote team knowledge
• Collaborating with colleagues in multidisciplinary teams and communities of practice
