Job Role Overview

The Travelling Service Technician — Offshore is a full-time, permanent position based out of Vestas’ headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark. Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring safe work practices by acting in full compliance with Vestas HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements at all times
• Conducting and logging monthly Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) checks to maintain safety standards
• Communicating daily with Service Managers, SP Supervisors, and Project Managers to coordinate work priorities and report progress
• Identifying, registering, and coordinating deviations from planned work schedules or technical specifications
• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems and performing fault diagnosis on wind turbine components
• Registering time and material consumption accurately in Vestas internal systems
• Carrying out scheduled maintenance, unplanned repair, and replacement activities on turbine components across the offshore fleet
• Working collaboratively with sub-contractors and Customer Service & construction teams during major campaigns

Required Qualifications

• Marine Engineer, Electrician, or equivalent technical degree from a recognised school, college, or university
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with electrical or mechanical systems (experience in wind, offshore, or high-voltage environments is beneficial)
• Valid driving licence
• Fluent English skills, both spoken and written
• Proficiency with PC and modern technologies, including MS Office applications
• Strong focus on safety and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to work
